Why care about Conscious Commerce?

Why care about Conscious Commerce?

  • Because trust in business is essential.
  • Because respect in leadership is important.
  • Because finding mutual benefit is highly profitable.

The very foundation of any business is built upon relationships and people delivering what is promised and agreed upon by colleagues, partners, employees and investors.

I care, because Conscious Commerce strengthens my relationships and amplifies my results.

When trust , respect , & mutual benefit work together, a culture of growth and authenticity is naturally cultivated as organization becomes a hub for people to develop skills that they are proud to contribute.

For many people work is an opportunity to create value for themselves as an individual. They wear their job or career as a badge of honor throughout their social and home lives. At work, just as in personal relationships, when trust is valued, conflict is minimized. When respect is practiced, differences of opinion can be resolved, and creativity is safe to emerge. When leaders are conscious of mutual benefit, all parties strive for maximum success and even aspirational goals are achieved.

Conscious Commerce is the radical notion that there is enough success for everyone, and enough time in the day to do the right thing. We are not the only ones who are eager to launch this initiative in Seattle. The upcoming VAST Institute, Conscious Commerce Conference (March 12,2019 ), highlights organizations and entrepreneurs who are embracing the hallmarks of Conscious Commerce, with many going a step beyond to consider their impact on the community or environment.

The theme “Using Business for Good” is intended to be as inclusive as possible.

We are delighted to welcome professionals from all industries supporting a conscious approach to business. Any person, in any role, in any type of business can embrace Conscious Commerce and benefit from its extraordinary results.
